SCIENCE CASTLE in SINGAPORE is an international conference for youth researchers and entrepreneurs. It is a platform for Junior and Senior High School students to share their research and development projects with a focus on Science, Technology, and Engineering to solve social challenges faced in ASIA and/or the world in their mission to advance science and technology for the betterment of the society.
This is a good opportunity for students who are:
1) Passionate about research in science and technology and bridging research and society
2) Interested in entrepreneurship
3) High motivation in discovering new knowledge to solve real-world issues
High School individuals who are working on research topics independently are welcome to showcase their work.
Students satisfy their curious minds about different fields at the conference as they connect and make friends with international students from Japan and Southeast Asia who are also passionate about research and innovation.

The theme for SCIENCE CASTLE 2019 is “Science and Technology in the 21st Century Society”

Underpinning this theme is a mission to advance Science and Technology to transform the existing conditions of the society through research and innovation.

The event will be held from the 1st to 2nd November 2019 in Singapore.

The working language of the event is English.

Judging Criteria

SCIENCE CASTLE Judging Criteria


All teams participating in the conference will be provided with mentoring sessions by the organizing committee to help them be able to explain their projects within the given time limit. More information will be provided to the participating teams.


Grand prize
Trip to Japan to attend Hyper-Interdisciplinary Conference (international) in March 2020 and share their work with researchers (from Japan and abroad), startup teams, large corporations, and super factories representatives.
Best Poster Award
This award is given by the poster judges to recognise the student with the best poster design and presentation.
People’s Choice Award
This award is voted in by all students to the student which they think has the best poster design and presentation.

Entry Fee

SGD 25 per person
**Flight and accommodation fees, transportation within the country will not be covered by Leave a Nest Singapore.
