Empowering Research and Innovation for Sustainable World’

 The Third International Conference for young researchers (SCIENCE CASTLE 2020) is back! We continue to create an ecosystem to incubate youth leader with scientific thinking in South East Asia. As a response to the world sustainability, this year SCIENCE CASTLE with the theme of ‘Empowering Research and Innovation for Sustainable World’ we intended to offer solution that can change world living conditions such as sustainable town, eco-village and eco municipalities. By exploring and empowering research, students are able to develop green technologies that can help to improve human lifestyle while preserving natural resources. The student can be mentoring to think on different perspective and be familiarize with the “New Normal”, the Sustainable World.

[CONFERENCE OVERVIEW]

Leave a Nest has been attracting thousands of young researchers through SCIENCE CASTLE platform since 2012 when it first started in Osaka, Japan. SCIENCE CASTLE in Malaysia is a platform that gathers the most passionate and talented young researchers from secondary schools. This conference is also a platform for students to learn from each other and generate new visions of the world based on advancement in science and technology.

Theme     “Taking action TODAY towards creating a brighter TOMORROW”

For 2020, we are calling for application in the following fields.
1) Environment related: such as Plastic Waste
2) Energy related: such as renewable energy, energy storage, energy usage analysis
3) Food: such as Science behind food or technology related to food
4) Natural Resources: such as utilizing natural resources, science behind natural remedies etc
5) Earth Science: such as science of soil etc
6) Space Science: such as planetary Science or science & technology that can be used in space
 Underpinning this theme is a focus on persuading the younger generation to take action by applying their scientific knowledge and working as a global team to overcome challenges in the future.

The 2-day event will be held from the 4th to 5th November 2020 online broadcasting from Singapore.

The working language of the event is English.
